For the 2008-2009 school year the City Administration has allotted 1539 scholarships to high-school and university students, 871 of which are for high-school students, 24 for two-year college students and 644 for university students.

The City has allotted 2.000.000 KM to this year scholarships. The scholarship for high-school students amounts to 70 KM, for freshmen and sophomores 100 KM, and for juniors and seniors 130 KM.
