Banja Luka and its citizens got their first outdoor gym. It is positioned on the right bank of the Vrbas River, along the pedestrian zone between Venecija bridge and Rebrovac bridge. The opening ceremony took place on November 08th.
Besides many citizens and active athletes the opening ceremony was attended by Mayor, Dragoljub Davidović. Speaking of the project, he said that the city was enriched with another novelty accessible to all citizens.
Students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the University of Banja Luka were honored to try the apparatuses. The outdoor gym consists of two polygons containing 6 apparatuses respectively. On the first one there are a slant sit-up bench, parallel bars, step climber, horizontal bar, horizontal ladder and small horizontal bars. The other polygon offers slant sit-up bench, parallel bars, step climber, horizontal bars and Swedish ladder.
